Within Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision, the garment sector is identified as a high-value industry with plans to boost employment and income. Despite historical reliance on migrant workers, some garment factories have successfully attracted and retained Jordanian talent in knowledge-intensive service positions.

This case study focuses on a particular exporting garment factory, investigating its success in recruiting Jordanians in middle management positions. The study aims to identify the key elements and practices contributing to effective recruitment and retention of Jordanians in such managerial positions, offering tangible recommendations for industry-wide replication.
