HO CHI MIHN CITY, Vietnam – Currently, Vietnam is facing the 4th wave of the COVID-19 pandemic on a large scale, which is seriously affecting the production and business of many enterprises, as well as the daily lives of workers. According to the guidance of the Government, thie guidance is being released in order to maintain production activities, enterprises must organize “3 on-site” measures, which means staff must work, eat/drink and rest on-site. This means that at the same time, factories must ensure that the on-site accommodations provided for workers fully meets the necessary criteria for pandemic prevention and control, while creating decent conditions for workers residing at the factories.

With the aim of supporting factories that participate in the Better Work Vietnam program in implementing 3 on-site, Better Work Vietnam has standardized and collated documents and guidance from the Government to serve as a reference for implementation by Better Work Vietnam participating factories in accordance with legal labour requirements. We hope that this document will help both factories and workers implement, check, monitor and continuously fulfill the effectiveness of the 3 on-site requirement.
