7.7. Worker Accommodation

When employers provide workers with overnight accommodation, there should be adequate cooking and storage facilities.

The employer must plan for emergencies by ensuring that dormitories have adequate emergency exits, well-marked and unobstructed escape routes, and posted emergency exit plans at the workplace.
