22 Jul 2014

This case study details the National Tripartite Plan of Action in Bangladesh’s garment industry, which will affect more than 3.5 million workers and improve fire safety and structural integrity in approximately 3,500 factories. It is the first programme between workers, employers and the government of its kind in Bangladesh. Outside the country, it has also had an immediate impact on major international initiatives launched by buyers, governments and interest groups.
