A lawyer specialized in public international law, Tigist is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working on Industrial Relations, labour and employment. Tigist’s passion to contribute to improvement of working conditions goes back to when she worked as senior legal expert in Ethiopia Human Rights Commission; and investigator at Ethiopian Institution of the Ombudsman (2007-2012). Tigist has also worked for Ethiopian Employers’ Federation as a senior legal advisor and for the International Labour Organization for a project on industrial relations.
