Prior to joining Better Work Ethiopia, Melkamu worked for Leather Industry Development Institute as a lead leather garments and goods industry development consultant, researcher, and trainer. He had 10 years’ experience in his profession of working with leather products manufacturing industry. Melkamu also worked as SCORE trainer for SCORE project in ONEILO. He has MA in Project Management, MSc in Leather Goods and Accessories Design, and BSc in Textile Engineering.
