Md Mehedi Hasan joined Better Work Bangladesh (BWB) in January 2021. He has more than 10 years of experience in the development sector focusing on dignified work at readymade garments industry, humanitarian response, women’s economic empowerment and gender mainstreaming. Mehedi Hasan completed his Masters of Social Science in Anthropology from Jahangirnagar University. He has also completed Diploma in Social Compliance from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM). Mehedi previously worked at CARE Bangladesh, BRAC and BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD).
