Ishrat Jahan joined BWB in 2014 following 15 years of work in Bangladesh’s garment industry supervising labour standard and working conditions. Jahan also worked for the International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC). Throughout her career, Jahan gained experience on auditing, training, suppliers’ development, and involvement of women in empowerment projects. She holds a Master in Social Science from the University of Dhaka.
