Port-au-Prince, Haiti
Dimanche served as a labor inspector at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST) from 2004 to 2024, bringing a unique set of skills to our team. He holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences (FDSE) in Haiti and a background in accounting from the University of Port-au-Prince. Dimanche completed a comprehensive training from the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Academy of Workplace Compliance in ITC Turin, and the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) on labor inspection. Before joining Better Work Haiti, he had been actively engaged in the programme’s core services activities for over five years, along with a great experience as a part of the Special Task Force team initiated by the ILO and the Labor Inspectorate division, which equips him with a relevant skill set aligned with the programme’s approach and decent work agenda.
Joining Better Work Haiti will enable me to strengthen my skills in the program’s approach and expertise, particularly in labor compliance, social dialogue, and supporting enterprises’ efforts to improve compliance.
