Diane Davoine joined Better Work in 2017, at the IFC. Her work focuses on project and programme management; designing and managing the delivery of innovative advisory and training solutions that promote women’s empowerment, leadership skills development, employee engagement and productivity at the workplace – including the “Gender Equality and Returns” (GEAR) programme; and supporting IFC investments to help companies across industries improve social outcomes, including related to gender diversity and working conditions. In her role, Diane also helps to bring Better Work’s proven approaches to other industries and countries, especially by working with companies in the agribusiness sector in Africa.
Before joining IFC and Better Work, Diane worked at the World Bank, the World Economic Forum, and in different roles in the financial sector in Switzerland. Diane holds a MA in International Economics from The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and a BA in International Affairs from the University of Geneva.
