Afsana Chowdhury joined Better Work Bangladesh in July 2021. She has more than 15 years of experiences in development sector with various national and international organization in Bangladesh and abroad on human rights, women rights, women economic rights, women worker leadership in formal and informal sectors, decent work, gender mainstreaming, interactive theatre for development, training & capacity building. She received and conducted various training courses within the country and abroad. Afsana completed her Master in Social Science from Rajshahi University. Previously she worked at CARE Bangladesh, BRAC, Asian Institute of Human Rights at Bangkok, Naripokkho, Ain o Shalish Kendra. Afsana also alumni of International Visitor Leadership Program by USA state government and FK fellow of Government of Norway since 2011.
