Ujjal Barua joined BWB in 2019. Ujjal previously worked at Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and the German Development Corporation. Ujjal holds a Master’s in Social Science from the University of Chittagong and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Bangladesh Institute of Management. He received training on social dialogue, labour laws and Environmental issues.
