Join CARE and Better Work at this online Learning Summit to learn about new tools, good practices and evidence of what works to prevent gender-based violence and harassment in the garment industry. This Learning Summit follows on from the Business of Women at Work event co-hosted by CARE and Better Work in Phnom Penh in October 2019 and aims to facilitate shared commitment and collaboration among industry stakeholders to address this key issue. Evidence and lessons learned from CARE’s ‘Enhancing Women’s Voice to STOP Sexual Harassment’ project will be shared, based on our experience working to address GBVH in 42 factories across Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. The Learning Summit will also include the launch of Standard Operating Procedures Addressing Gender Based Violence and Harassment, which have been designed by Better Work and CARE to support the industry to adopt good practice.
