The Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT) is used by Better Work Enterprise Advisors to assess compliance with core international labour standards and national labour law. The downloadable resource is an example of Better Work Jordan’s CAT.
Better Work’s goal is to reduce poverty in Jordan by expanding decent work opportunities in the apparel sector. The programme also aims to improve the competitiveness of the industry by enhancing economic performance at the enterprise level and by improving compliance with Jordanian labour law and the ILO’s core labour standards.
