Better Work Jordan in collaboration with the General Trade Union of Workers in Textile Garment & Clothing Industries, produced informative posters on the main provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the financial support of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
Facilitated by Better Work Jordan, the three-year sector-wide CBA was signed in November 2019 between employers represented by the Jordan Garments, Accessories & Textiles Exporters’ Association (J-GATE) and the Association of Owners of Factories, Workshops and Garments (AOFWG) and workers represented by the General Trade Union of Workers in Textile, Garment & Clothing Industries Jordan (GTU). The posters are available in five languages (Arabic, English, Bangla, Sinhala, and Hindi) for easy reference for both Jordanian workers and workers from abroad.
