This enterprise survey was conducted to understand current business disruptions due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
The survey results show that:
♦ Most garment manufacturers in Haiti are experiencing significant operational disruptions because of COVID-19
♦ Negative employment effects, including suspension and dismissals, are widespread
♦ Business challenges includes poor business environment and human resources issues
*The survey was conducted by Better Work Haiti, in collaboration with the Bureau for Employers’ Activities (ACTEMP) from the ILO Office in Costa Rica
