Khayrulla Mashrabov joined Better Work Uzbekistan as Enterprise Adviser in 2024. He supports Better Work’s factory engagement initiatives in the textile and apparel industry. His engagements at the enterprise level include general coaching sessions and training in setting up and facilitating labour management committees, identifying non-compliance areas using Better Work’s Compliance Assessment Tool, and addressing gaps in labour standards and management systems. He manages field activities in close coordination with the Better Work Global Team in areas such as Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Social Dialogue, Gender Equality and Women Empowerment, Buyer Engagement, and other key areas.
Previously, he worked for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), the International Trade Centre (ITC), Feljas-Masson SAS, the National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU), the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Khayrulla received a bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations from Ferghana State University, Uzbekistan.
