A lawyer specialized in public international law, Tigist is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working on industrial relations, labour and employment. Tigist’s passion for improving working conditions goes back to when she worked as senior legal expert in Ethiopia Human Rights Commission and an investigator at the Ethiopian Institution of the Ombudsman (2007-2012). Tigist has also worked for the Ethiopian Employers’ Federation as a senior legal advisor and for the ILO for an industrial relations project.
