Syed Fazle Niaz is an accomplished leader in responsible business conduct and human rights due diligence, currently serving as Team Leader for Better Work Bangladesh under the International Labour Organization (ILO). Since joining Better Work in 2014, Syed has progressed through key roles, including Enterprise Adviser and Consultant, before assuming his current position in 2017. 

With extensive experience in research, business strategy, and project management, Syed has been at the forefront of initiatives that strengthen compliance with international labour standards and enhance sustainability across global supply chains. He maintains close relationships with tripartite constituents, internal partners, and international supply chain players and development organizations. Niaz has also majorly contributed to areas of Responsible Business Conduct and supply chain engagement since 2021 in Bangladesh. 

He holds a master’s degree in Environment and an MBA from the Institution of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, alongside PMP® certification and advanced training in leadership, labour law reform, and industrial relations.
