MH Kawsar Rudro is the Communications Officer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has over ten years of diverse experience in the fields of communications, advocacy, journalism, research, and strategic planning. Prior to that, he held various positions with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CIRDAP, and several newspapers and NGOs. He has organized international programs and high-level policy dialogues in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, England, the Philippines, Thailand, and Fiji.
He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mass communication and journalism from the University of Dhaka, as well as a master’s degree in development studies with a specialization in public policy. Rudro was a British Council Bangladesh INSPIRE (International Strategic Partnership in Research and Education) Fellow in 2012. He has written newspaper articles on topics ranging from human rights to labor rights, to rural development, climate change, social capital, and public policy.
Rudro loves traveling and exploring different cultures in his spare time.
