Better Work, in collaboration with brands and other industry stakeholders, including the Better Buying Institute, has developed an interactive foundational training applicable for brand staff at different levels and across departments. The training will allow participants to better understand how purchasing practices influence working conditions and the direct impacts of their own decision-making.
The e-learning course comprises of an online simulation game, which tracks a garment from inception to delivery. It provides an overview of global supply chain dynamics, sourcing modules and procurement, and highlights the impact of purchasing practices at each stage of the process. In addition, Better Work is offering a customized facilitated online training that allows company staff the opportunity to work directly with Better Work on how to apply the learnings to their specific company.
This interactive training is divided into eight modules, each consisting of an informational video together with a quiz for participants to check their understanding. The course, which takes around an hour to complete, is currently available in English. Your team will learn about:
