Michelle Davis joined Better Work in 2015 and currently provides support on monitoring & evaluation, internal and external reporting, and program management on both the IFC and ILO sides of the Better Work partnership. Within Better Work IFC she also leads on project design and supports with policy advocacy work within the World Bank Group.
Michelle began her career by working in Latin America for 6 years, where she held a variety of program management roles for NGO’s focused on gender, youth, and public health. A Princeton in Latin America fellowship allowed her to gain experience coordinating CSR programs. In 2014 she shifted towards work with international institutions, completing several consultancy assignments for UNICEF and UNESCO with the Youth Research Center at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education. Michelle then joined Better Work with the ILO in Geneva in 2015 and relocated to Washington, DC to begin working on the IFC side of the partnership as well in 2016.
Michelle holds a MA in International Education Policy from the University of Melbourne and a BA in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University in Washington, DC.
